She Cried/I Feel So Violated

Written By: Sy - Feb• 22•11

I made my sister cry by telling her a joke, and not just cry, but she started throwing a fit and accusing me of mocking her.

Very strange. Apparently I had struck a nerve that I didn’t know was there. Now just for the record I would never do that to my sister. I know she’s a little loosely wound upstairs to begin with and we’ve had our skirmishes in the past.

I’m not going to go into any details, but she regained her composure and I tried to assure her that I was not even aware of the issue that set her off.

But, what about me? I’ve never had anyone cry at one of my jokes before. I don’t know if I’ll ever be the same. I might even be ruined for life.  I feel so violated. How could you treat one of my jokes that way. That poor joke didn’t deserve that.

It’s almost as if my own sister donkey punched one of my jokes.

I think I’m going to cry.

yikes 😐 erm… *pat pat* I would obviously sympathize with you, only I’m not sure about what sort of thing you might have said to her to set her off. It could obviously not have been anything good 😛

I was trying to get her to mispronounce a common word. it was a thing I heard on the radio. she was about the third person I tried it on. nobody fell for it. I wasn’t making fun of her. I was only trying to give a poor joke a chance at life.
      I’m so misunderstood.

😀 you’re an ass that’s what you are. But it would have been interesting to see your face when she started crying..

She was actually driving me to the store when this happened. we were going past a forest preserve, and I was thinking, ok just calm down and stay on the road. please.
